Finland to End Gambling Monopoly by 2026

Now there is only one licensed gambling company operating in Finland — Veikkaus. Due to the monopoly model and the lack of prohibitions, half of all gamblers choose offshore operators, which hits the Finnish budget. For this reason, the country will move to a licensing system.
